The years from 1670 to 1720 were a time of peace and prosperity for Navarra. Ten more colonies were founded in North America and the neighbouring Iroquois nation was annexed. A brief war against Venice resulted in the annexation of Provence, and the end of the Venetian trade embargo. Navarra was now allied with Spain and France.
